Description

You will manage and optimize MongoDB database clusters across cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage MongoDB database clusters, including replica sets, sharding, and backups.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to database performance, availability, and connectivity.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and schema design improvements.
• Monitor and manage database storage, capacity planning, and scaling.
• Support MongoDB deployments on AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Deep knowledge of MongoDB architecture, aggregation framework, and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas or self-managed clusters in cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• MongoDB Certified DBA certification.
