Description

You will own the design, optimization, and service development of MongoDB databases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB schemas, defining document modeling strategies.
• Perform indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning on MongoDB instances.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services using MongoDB with Node.js, Java, or Python.
• Utilize the MongoDB Aggregation Framework and manage database transactions.
• Support database operations including replication, sharding, backup, and restore procedures.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB schema design and document modeling.
• Hands-on experience with indexing strategies and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with the MongoDB Aggregation Framework and transaction management.
• Experience managing database replication, sharding, and backup/restore.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB Ops Manager and MongoDB Atlas fundamentals.
• Ability to build APIs and backend services using Node.js, Java, and Python.
• Strong skills in query optimization and performance profiling.
