Description

You will manage and optimize MongoDB instances within a DevOps framework.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure MongoDB instances, including deploying and monitoring replica sets.
• Develop and execute procedures for database backups and disaster recovery.
• Optimize database performance and resolve issues to ensure maximum availability.
• Manage user access by creating roles and setting specific permissions.
• Upgrade databases through regular patching and maintain documentation for setup and architecture.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience working with MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps automation tools.
• Deep understanding of the MongoDB aggregation framework.
• Proven ability to optimize large-scale data insertions.
• Knowledge of best practices for designing document schemas.
• Experience managing database performance and availability.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB cluster management in cloud environments.
