Description

You will manage and optimize the core MongoDB infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for MongoDB Enterprise and Atlas.
• Automate MongoDB tasks using CloudFormation Templates (CFT) with YAML.
• Implement, support, and audit database security protocols.
• Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) for database and storage technologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Database administration.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB, including both Atlas and Enterprise.
• 8+ years of overall database experience.
• Extensive database performance tuning experience.
• 3+ years of expertise in automation using AWS CFT/Lambda functions.
• Solid experience with Linux and VM Platform environments.
• Deep understanding of HA, DR, and database replication.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Python, YAML, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud and large-scale enterprise database best practices.
