Description

You will manage and optimize large-scale MongoDB environments within AWS and Linux infrastructures. You will own the stability, security, and performance of both MongoDB Enterprise and MongoDB Atlas deployments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for MongoDB Enterprise and MongoDB Atlas instances.
• Automate database tasks using AWS CloudFormation Templates (CFT) with YAML and Lambda functions.
• Perform extensive database performance tuning and implement industry-standard best practices.
• Maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) through data replication and storage technologies.
• Implement, support, and audit database security protocols.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of database administration experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB (both Atlas and Enterprise).
• 5+ years of experience working with Linux/VM platforms.
• 3+ years of expertise in automation using AWS CloudFormation Templates (CFT) and Lambda functions.
• Proficiency in Python, YAML, and Unix Shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of HA, DR, and data replication technologies.
• Experience with AWS Cloud environments.
