Description

You will implement observability solutions across multiple systems to increase visibility into server and database performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage monitoring stacks including Grafana and Datadog to track system health and data output.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and logging accuracy across distributed architectures.
• Analyze inter-system communication patterns to identify areas for architectural hardening.
• Develop observability libraries using Java to enhance monitoring capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in observability or monitoring roles.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog, App Dynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, or Splunk.
• Strong programming skills in Java for library development.
• Experience with Flutter and Dart, specifically on the mobile side.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, Green card holder, or EAD holder.
• Must reside in CA, FL, MA, MD, MI, MS, NJ, NV, OH, or TX; AZ, CT, GA, NY, UT, VA, WA, and WV may be considered.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience implementing Grafana and Datadog.
• Experience in the hospitality or gaming industry.
• Background working at a top tech company.
