Description

You will manage IBM middleware infrastructure, API connectivity, and integration tools.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch IBM WebSphere MQ, API Connect 10, and App Connect.
• Configure MQ objects, channels, and queues to build application-specific infrastructure.
• Monitor application queues and perform root cause analysis for incidents and changes.
• Define REST and SOAP APIs and deploy projects using the Toolkit GUI.
• Manage TLS certificates, including installation, upgrades, and uninstalls.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IBM MQ.
• 3+ years of experience working with API Connect (APIC).
• Experience with IBM App Connect and Integration Bus.
• Proficiency in shell scripting within AIX or Linux environments.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS and general security concepts like authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Experience troubleshooting and remediating defects and error scenarios.
• Experience using UC4 and Autosys tools.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AIX or Linux operating system administration.
