Description

You will manage and maintain MFT infrastructure, handling installation, upgrades, and application maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Administer IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, Sterling Secure Proxy, and Sterling External Authentication Server.
• Provide L2/L3 support, managing production incidents, crisis calls, MIRs, and SIPs to ensure service recovery.
• Own problem management and root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent issue recurrence.
• Monitor system health, perform performance tuning, and manage vulnerability remediation.
• Drive process improvements and automation to reduce toil and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MFT infrastructure administration.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling File Gateway (Sterling Integrator) and IBM Sterling Connect:Direct on Unix and Windows.
• Deep understanding of file transfer protocols including sFTP, AS2, C:D, FTPS, and HTTPS.
• Practical knowledge of cryptography and key management, specifically SSL/TLS, SSH, and PGP/GPG.
• Experience with RDBMS, Cloud Technology, and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including operating systems, networking, and security.
• Proficiency in Service Management frameworks, specifically Change, Incident, and Problem management.
• Ability to work independently within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• IBM certifications or equivalent industry credentials.
