Job Responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and maintain Chef cookbooks to automate IBM MQ installation, configuration, and deployments.

Build idempotent Chef recipes and roles to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning across environments.

Integrate Chef automation with CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and updates of MQ environments.

Perform testing (unit, integration, kitchen/inspec) to validate automation quality, performance, and compliance.

Provide L3 support by troubleshooting automation and MQ-related issues in production environments.

Ensure configuration consistency, reduce manual effort, and contribute to best practices in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in automation, configuration management, or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

Strong hands-on expertise in Chef (cookbooks, recipes, roles) and IBM MQ administration, including queue managers and configurations.

Proven experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines, along with strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and version control systems like Git
