Job Responsibilities include:

Develop, maintain, and optimize IBM MQ channel, API, and message exits using C programming.

Ensure thread-safe, high-performance code for multi-threaded MQ environments and secure message processing.

Integrate MQ exits with external systems such as LDAP and REST APIs for authentication and data transformation.

Provide L3 production support by troubleshooting MQ-related issues and resolving complex defects.

Collaborate with platform teams to modernize legacy MQ exits and reduce dependency on custom implementations.

Maintain documentation, code standards, and manage lifecycle activities including versioning, deployment, and rollback.

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8–10 years of experience in middleware, messaging systems, or low-level system programming.

Strong hands-on expertise in C programming and IBM MQ internals, including development of custom MQ exits (channel, API, message exits).

Proven experience in building thread-safe, high-performance applications, with knowledge of system integrations (LDAP, REST APIs) and production support/modernization of MQ environments
