Description

You will manage Kafka on Kubernetes and MQ production environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and act as the escalation point for Level 2 teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage production environments for Kafka on Kubernetes and MQ plants.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and serve as the escalation point for Level 2 teams.
• Develop automation to replace manual tasks and build self-service tools for L1/L2 staff and application users.
• Handle incident and problem management while maintaining operational policies and best practices.
• Coordinate change execution with external vendors, internal project managers, and change boards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical support or production management.
• Hands-on experience with Message Queue (MQ) and Kafka.
• Experience managing Kafka on Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience with Quality Control processes.
• Ability to participate in weekly infrastructure reviews and change management meetings.
