Description

You will manage production environments for Kafka on Kubernetes and MQ plants, serving as the escalation point for Level 2 teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage production environments for Kafka on Kubernetes and MQ plants.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and act as the primary escalation point for Level 2 teams.
• Develop automation to replace manual tasks and build self-service tools for L1/L2 staff and application users.
• Execute incident and problem management processes and coordinate with vendors and project managers to implement changes.
• Present technical changes to the change board and participate in weekly infrastructure reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support or engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka on Kubernetes.
• Experience managing MQ plants.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience with Problem Management and Quality Control.
• Ability to build automation tools for operational efficiency.
