Description

You will manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities for metallic parts and structures, focusing on non-conformances (NCs) and quality notifications (QN). You own the disposition process, root cause analysis, and inventory metrics while ensuring compliance with ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage NC and QN processes, including creating dispositions for metallic components.
• Perform detailed sizing of metallic parts using classical hand calculations for static and fatigue repairs.
• Create substantiations for non-conformances on engine and structural metallic components.
• Drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for out-of-box returns (OOB) and manage MRB inventory metrics.
• Collaborate with airworthiness, quality, manufacturing, and design teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience with MRP Aerospace projects.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling, SolidWorks, and FEM modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, PDM, and EPDM.
• Technical expertise in Ansys, Mathcad, and tolerance stack analysis.
• Knowledge of metallic material properties and stress analysis of metallic parts.
• Experience with 2D drawings for assembly and installation.
• Strong background in QNs, concessions, and frontline manufacturing support.
• US Citizenship required to work under ITAR regulations.
• Competency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of elastomers, fluid systems, and electronic components.
• Familiarity with FAA and EASA specifications.
• Experience with problem-solving techniques such as 5 Why’s, 8D, or DMAIC.
