Description

You will architect, design, and manage enterprise-level IaaS and PaaS solutions on Microsoft Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable Azure solutions as the technical subject matter expert.
• Implement cloud security best practices to ensure environment integrity and compliance.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Azure CLI to streamline deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain high availability.
• Document Azure architecture, configurations, and technical processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience designing and managing Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Proficiency with Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and Azure Functions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure Storage (Blob, Files, Disks).
• Deep understanding of Azure Networking, including VNet, Load Balancers, and Application Gateway.
• Experience managing identities with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Ability to automate infrastructure using PowerShell or Azure CLI.
• Residency in the Jackson, MS metropolitan area or ability to commute to the Jackson, MS site.
• Willingness to travel to the client site for periodic on-site meetings.

Preferred Skills

• Active Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305.
• Experience with IaC tools like ARM Templates or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management.
