Description

Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Intelligence.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute migration strategies to move data and logic from Snowflake and Azure services (Synapse, ADF, Databricks) into Microsoft Fabric.
• Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and Spark-based notebooks.
• Develop semantic models and complex DAX/SQL queries to support advanced business reporting and AI initiatives.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within the Fabric environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical architectures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric components: OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, Data Factory, Real-Time Intelligence, Data Activator, and Copilot.
• Strong proficiency in Azure ecosystem tools: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse Analytics, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Snowflake migration tools (SnowSQL, Tasks, Streams) and dbt.
• Expert-level SQL (T-SQL/SnowSQL), Python (PySpark/Pandas), KQL (Kusto), and DAX.
• Ability to design semantic models for business intelligence.
