Description

You will manage and maintain SQL Server environments, data modeling processes, and database infrastructure in Alabama, USA.

Responsibilities

• Perform standalone installations, feature additions, and instance upgrades across SQL Server editions.
• Author, maintain, and rewrite complex SQL scripts and legacy processes to accommodate infrastructure changes.
• Design and implement data models using logical, physical, and relational modeling techniques, including ER diagrams.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Application Designers on workflow discovery and application design.
• Apply security standards based on NIST, Microsoft Trust Center, and internal departmental policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Any Graduate degree.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server Installation Center and maintenance.
• Proficiency in DML, DQL, DDL, and DCL.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, including entities, attributes, cardinality, functions, views, and triggers.
• Practical understanding of normalization, aggregation, concurrency, and JSON data interchange formats.
• Experience with SQL Server, JSON, and Azure Cloud Services.

Preferred Skills

• Work experience with Azure BLOB Storage, SQL Data Tools, and SQL Reporting Services.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
