Key Skills: Ms Sql, SQL DBA, MS SQL Server, Commvault

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage MS SQL Server 2022 environments.
• Perform database upgrades, migrations, refreshes, restores, and patching activities.
• Monitor and maintain database performance, availability, and security.
• Manage high-availability configurations including Failover Clustering and Always On.
• Support SQL Server databases hosted on AWS environments.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Maintain OEM repository databases and support operational activities.
• Perform backup and recovery activities to ensure data availability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for smooth database operations.
• Maintain database documentation and follow operational best practices.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in MS SQL Server database administration.
• Expertise in SQL Server 2022 installation, upgrades, and database management.
• Experience in database migration, refresh, restore, and patching activities.
• Good knowledge of high-availability solutions such as Failover and Always On.
• Experience supporting SQL Server in AWS environments.
• Understanding of database security, backup, and recovery processes.
• Hands-on experience in production support and enterprise managed-services environments.
• Knowledge of OEM repository databases and monitoring activities.
• Familiarity with Commvault is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
