Description

You will design, implement, and manage MS SQL Server databases supporting OLTP and OLAP workloads.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions for transactional and analytical processes.
• Tune queries, implement indexing, and manage partitioning to enhance database performance and scalability.
• Support data integration workflows, ETL processes, and data migration activities.
• Ensure data security, quality, and compliance through proper configuration and access controls.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure high database availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of direct experience in MS SQL Server database development, performance tuning, and high-availability configurations.
• Proven expertise in T-SQL, SQL Server (2016, 2019 or later), and SQL Management Studio.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Always On, replication, or clustering.
• Experience implementing ETL processes using SSIS or Data Factory.
• Proficiency with database optimization techniques including indexing and partitioning.
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Python scripting.
• Experience working with OLTP and OLAP databases in enterprise environments.
