You will manage and optimize complex, resilient database systems within a regulated financial environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex, resilient database systems with object-level optimizations.
• Lead technical teams through resource management, conflict resolution, and technical negotiations.
• Support the Systems Development Lifecycle, including code reviews and performance testing.
• Consult with development teams to construct valid test harnesses for database layer testing.
• Optimize application server connection pooling and session-level database interactions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on SQL and query optimization experience.
• 7+ years of database technology management.
• 5+ years of database object level design optimization.
• 5+ years of designing and building complex, resilient database systems.
• 3+ years of experience supporting database implementations in regulated banking or financial industries.
• 3+ years of experience managing cloud native technologies.
• 2+ years of technical lead experience.
• Proven experience managing large data sets and transactional platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
