Description

You will manage and maintain the MS SQL Server environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server 2019, 2022, and 2008 installations, managing user rights, backup, and recovery.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server performance, identifying deadlock and blocking causes.
• Monitor index fragmentation and maintain indexes accordingly.
• Deploy databases from Development and testing servers into production.
• Create and administer automated SQL Server jobs, notifications, and Database Mail.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server administration (Installation, Backups, Recovery).
• Proficiency in SQL Server performance tuning and deadlock resolution.
• Experience managing database files, file groups, and space allocation.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and MySQL environments.
• Ability to manage database users, profiles, and privileges.
• Experience applying service packs and hotfixes.
• Experience resolving daily tickets for MSSQL and Snowflake.
