Description

You manage, configure, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure SQL Server instances, documenting all processes and procedures.
  • Implement and support high availability solutions including Log Shipping, Mirroring, Replication, and Clustering.
  • Execute database migrations, version upgrades, and provide hardware or licensing advisory.
  • Manage maintenance tasks including backups, index maintenance, consistency checks, and statistics updates.
  • Perform performance tuning and support SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS solutions.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA.
  • Expertise in T-SQL and SQL Tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Performance Tuning.
  • Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
  • Experience implementing high availability solutions like Mirroring and Clustering.
  • Ability to manage large-scale migrations and upgrades.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide technical best practices to customers.
  • Any Graduate degree.
