Description

Manage and optimize database environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructures, ensuring availability, stability, and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and manage end-to-end solutions within AWS and Azure Cloud environments.
• Ensure database recoverability and performance through proactive monitoring and patching.
• Translate business requirements into scalable database designs and technical architecture documents.
• Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within SQL code and stored procedures.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in MS SQL Server database development and support.
• 3+ years deploying physical and cloud instances of SQL Server, preferably in Azure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure Cloud environments.
• 2+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Databricks administration and Data Lake in Azure environments.
• Ability to produce technical design documents describing architecture for programs and projects.

Preferred Skills

• B.S. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• MCSE or Azure Certification.
