Description

You will own the full lifecycle of MS SQL Server and Redis database operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage MS SQL Server and Redis environments, performing installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching.
• Monitor database performance metrics and implement tuning for SQL queries, indexes, and Redis data structures.
• Plan and execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce database security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Mentor junior administrators and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expert-level proficiency in MS SQL Server DB Administration, including performance tuning and high availability configurations.
• Strong experience with Redis DBA, including data structure optimization and cluster management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and operational scripting.
• Demonstrated ability to perform capacity planning, growth forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Experience with database security, access control implementation, and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
