Description

You will manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage database activities using Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019, including installation and version conversions.
• Design, review, and analyze logical and physical data models.
• Perform data migrations, table loads, and stored procedure reviews to improve performance.
• Monitor database performance, space requirements, and infrastructure to provide optimization recommendations.
• Maintain database security, integrity, and backup/restore procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in database administration.
• Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019.
• 2+ years of experience writing and using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• 2+ years of experience using PowerShell scripting.
• 2+ years of experience managing database access security and integrity.
• 2+ years of experience performing database backups and restoration testing.
• 2+ years of experience with database server infrastructure and software analysis.
• 2+ years of experience assisting with SQL version conversions.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for task and source control management.

Preferred Skills

• Strong written and spoken communication skills for status reporting and team collaboration.
