Description

You will manage and optimize SQL Server and MongoDB environments across on-premises and AWS cloud infrastructures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute data migrations from on-premises databases to MongoDB Atlas.
• Manage SQL Server instances on AWS EC2 and RDS, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Always On Availability Groups, Multi-AZ deployments, and read replicas.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and resource allocation.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, AWS Lambda, or AWS Systems Manager.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration.
• 3+ years of experience in MongoDB administration.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including RDS, EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• Proficiency in T-SQL programming and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or SQL Profiler.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS DMS or native cloud migration tools.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Database Specialty, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
