Description

You will design, develop, and support database applications and ETL processes for Washington, D.C. stakeholders.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex SQL code, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
• Create, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines using SSIS and Python.
• Optimize database code and indexing for performance enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions alongside IT scrum teams.
• Troubleshoot issues with network administrators and software engineers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with SQL Server (2016, 2017, 2019).
• 7+ years developing ETL processes using SSIS packages.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Expertise in relational and dimensional database design and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of database security principles and data privacy.
• Experience in database and metadata analysis and design.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (Data Lake, Data Warehousing, governance).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSRS, SSAS, or Power BI reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
