Description

Manage the full lifecycle of MS SQL Server environments, from installation to decommissioning.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end database administration including clustering, log shipping, replication, and database mirroring.
• Configure and maintain SQL Always On availability groups to ensure high availability.
• Manage data files and log files to maintain environment stability and performance.
• Perform database migrations to Windows and Cloud servers.
• Create, schedule, and monitor SQL Server jobs and alerts via SQL Server Agent.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in MS SQL database administration.
• Expertise in SQL Server installation, configuration, and decommissioning.
• Hands-on experience with Clustering, Log shipping, and Replication.
• Proficiency in Database Mirroring and SQL Always On.
• Experience migrating databases to Windows or Cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot SQL Server performance using dynamic management views.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Azure Databricks.
• Experience with Snowflake Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting production environments on a 24/7 basis.
