Description

You will manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments across multiple versions and Azure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server versions 2012 through 2022 on x64 operating systems.
• Execute database migrations, software upgrades, and apply service packs and patches.
• Manage database maintenance including index rebuilds, integrity checks, and scheduled maintenance plans.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Always On, replication, log shipping, mirroring, and clustering.
• Tune system performance by optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures using SQL Profiler and Database Engine Tuning Advisor.

Required Skills

• 5-9 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.
• Proficiency with SQL Server versions 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and SQL Server environments.
• Expertise in Backup, Restore, Recovery, and Linked Servers.
• Deep knowledge of Replication models including Snapshot, Transactional, and Merge.
• Experience implementing Always On availability groups in SQL Server 2016+.
• Competency in performing DBCC, custom script execution, and using SQL Management Studio.
• Ability to use DMVs, Resource Governor, and Windows Performance Monitor for tuning.
