Description

You will own the administration, optimization, and automation of MSSQL database environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot MSSQL servers, including Always On Availability Groups, Replication, and Clustering.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies, validating backups for disaster recovery.
• Write and optimize complex SQL statements to ensure high performance.
• Automate repetitive database processes using PowerShell to ensure service consistency.
• Align system changes with ITIL change and incident management processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in MSSQL Database Operations (On-Prem and Cloud).
• Expert proficiency in MSSQL database management (versions 2019 and 2022).
• Experience with Cloud Services, specifically Azure and AWS.
• Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for automation.
• Solid understanding of database design and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Ability to plan system resource requirements from high-level specs.
