MSSQL Server Database Administrator

You will manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server clusters with multiple nodes, including mirroring, log shipping, and Always On availability groups.
• Execute database migrations across different platforms and maintain databases on AWS.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and stored procedure refinement.
• Handle database auditing, security, capacity planning, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Oversee data loading, SAN management, and SSIS/SSRS package maintenance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration within production environments.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019.
• Hands-on experience with database migration and maintenance on AWS.
• Proven ability to manage SQL Server clusters and high-availability/disaster recovery methods.
• Strong knowledge of SSIS packages and SSRS.
• Experience with SAN, data loading, security, and capacity planning.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Admin – SQL Server) or MCSE certification.
• AWS certification.
• Experience in the financial industry.
