Description

Design vehicle mule and prototype network topologies, develop gateway functional requirements, and troubleshoot electrical systems to facilitate CAN-based communication.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify vehicle mule and prototype network topology diagrams.
• Develop gateway functional requirements to facilitate communication between different CAN architectures.
• Modify and map CAN/LIN network signals to meet specific vehicle build requirements.
• Flash, configure, and calibrate modules for prototype builds.
• Troubleshoot and triage vehicle electrical systems, performing bench-level simulation to verify gateway software.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in related roles.
• Deep knowledge of CAN-based communication and protocols.
• Hands-on experience using multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to work independently and drive identified issues to closure.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vector tools including CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, and NeoVI.
• Knowledge of CAN FD and Ethernet.
• Experience in architecture and system integration.
