Description

Lead the design of wire harness and electrical distribution systems for mule and prototype vehicles, translating OEM requirements into 2D drawings and schematics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate OEM wiring requirements into detailed 2D wiring drawings.
• Interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematics to guide design decisions.
• Root cause electrical wiring issues during the development phase.
• Assess and package harness designs within the vehicle architecture.
• Coordinate with supplier CAD, Engineering Support, and Manufacturing teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wire harness design, routing, and packaging.
• Proficiency with CATIA, Capital NX, or Solidworks.
• Experience managing OEM change processes, including change requests and control.
• Bachelor of Science in EE, ME, Comp Eng, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to provide technical interface to advanced wiring teams.
• Strong organization and communication skills for design reviews.

Preferred Skills

• CATIA Routing experience.
• EDS component experience.
• Teamcenter experience.
