Description

Lead the design and release of wire harness and electrical distribution systems for mule and prototype vehicles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead wire harness and electrical distribution system design in collaboration with suppliers and global engineering teams.
• Translate OEM wiring requirements into detailed 2D wiring drawings.
• Read and interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematics.
• Assess and package harness designs while providing technical interface to the advanced wiring team.
• Perform root cause analysis on electrical wiring issues and participate in design reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wire harness design, routing, and packaging.
• Proficiency with CAD tools: CATIA, Capital NX, Solidworks, and Mentor Graphics CAP-H.
• Experience managing OEM change processes, including change requests, change control, and approval workflows.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EDS components.
• Proficiency in CATIA Routing and Teamcenter.
