Description

Lead the design of wire harness and electrical distribution systems for mule and prototype vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of wire harness and electrical distribution systems in coordination with supplier CAD, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematics to translate OEM requirements into 2D wiring drawings.
• Perform root cause analysis on electrical wiring issues.
• Assess and package harness designs.
• Provide technical interface to the advanced wiring team and participate in design reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wire harness design, routing, and packaging.
• Proficiency with CATIA, Capital NX, and Solidworks.
• Experience managing OEM change processes, including change requests, change control, and approval workflows.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Ability to read and interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EDS components.
• Proficiency in Teamcenter and CATIA Routing.
