Description

Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integrations and APIs using Anypoint Studio and the Anypoint Platform. You will build RAML specifications following API-led connectivity principles and implement secure designs using OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, and client ID enforcement. Integrate with REST/SOAP services, SaaS applications, databases, and legacy systems using JSON, XML, and CSV. Apply asynchronous event-driven patterns with JMS, Anypoint MQ, or Kafka. Manage APIs in Anypoint API Manager, applying governance and security policies. Perform unit testing with MUnit, debug issues, and tune performance. Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy MuleSoft integrations and APIs using Anypoint Studio.
• Build and maintain RAML specifications for System, API, and Experience layers.
• Implement secure API designs leveraging OAuth 2.0 and MuleSoft security best practices.
• Configure API Manager with governance and security policies.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning for Mule applications.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Strong experience designing APIs and building RAML specifications.
• Experience working in an Agile (Scrum or SAFe) environment.
• Solid understanding of API security, governance, and policy enforcement.
• Experience with asynchronous processing, message queues, and event-driven integration.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIPs) and best practices.
• Experience with REST/SOAP services, JSON, XML, and DataWeave transformations.

Preferred Skills

• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (MCD).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools (CloudHub logs, Splunk, Datadog, AppDynamics).
