Description

You will design, develop, and implement scalable API services connecting internal investment systems with the Investment Data Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API services using MuleSoft to connect investment systems.
• Translate business requirements from analysts into technical integration solutions.
• Build and maintain APIs supporting the Derivatives Platform integration.
• Optimize MuleSoft integration infrastructure leveraging AWS or Azure.
• Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for API reliability.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years developing API integrations in financial services.
• Expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design and development.
• Proven experience with financial data (instruments, transactions, positions).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps principles.
• Solid grasp of data modeling and transformation (JSON, XML, XSLT).
• Experience building service APIs and messaging patterns in MuleSoft.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience working with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
