Description

You plan, coordinate, and deliver software releases across multiple environments to ensure controlled, predictable, and efficient deployments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the release calendar, aligning schedules with business priorities and resolving cross-team conflicts.
• Coordinate release activities with DevOps, QA, Infrastructure, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure all release artifacts, including builds, deployment scripts, and rollback plans, are reviewed and approved.
• Enforce release governance, change management processes, and compliance standards.
• Lead release planning meetings and provide timely status communications to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in IT, software delivery, DevOps, or release management.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and release orchestration.
• Proficiency with source code management tools such as Git and GitLab.
• Knowledge of automation through scripting or coding, specifically Shell Scripts and Python.
• Experience managing JIRA stories, releases, and workflows.
• Working knowledge of change management frameworks like ITIL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with integration platforms, preferably MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with API-led connectivity and frameworks.
