You will own the integration architecture and delivery for MuleSoft solutions, leading offshore development teams to produce production-grade APIs.
Responsibilities
Define target-state integration architecture using MuleSoft API-led connectivity, producing context diagrams, sequence diagrams, and interface contracts.
Decompose designs into epics and stories with clear acceptance criteria, providing hands-on technical leadership and code reviews for offshore developers.
Design API specifications (RAML/OAS) including versioning strategies, idempotency, retries, DLQ strategies, and security-by-design patterns.
Enforce MuleSoft development standards, partnering with QA on layered testing (MUnit, contract, integration) and supporting CI/CD environment promotion.
Drive production readiness by defining operational runbooks, monitoring standards, and incident response approaches for distributed teams.
Required Skills
3+ years in integration engineering with proven leadership of integration delivery teams.
Strong hands-on MuleSoft experience (Anypoint Platform) delivering multiple production integrations.
Deep understanding of API-led design: system, process, and experience layering with reusable asset strategies.
Expertise in API lifecycle management, contract-first thinking, versioning, and backward compatibility.
Proficiency in integration reliability patterns: retries, idempotency, messaging, error handling, and resiliency controls.
Experience coordinating across geographically dispersed teams with strong backlog decomposition and technical review practices.
Working knowledge of security and compliance requirements (authN/authZ, encryption, auditability).
Preferred Skills
Experience with CloudHub and/or Runtime Fabric deployment models.
Familiarity with Anypoint governance including API Manager policies and Exchange asset lifecycle.
