Description

You will develop and maintain software within the VA VistA system using MUMPS.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions using MUMPS within the VA VistA environment.
• Design and implement HL7 messaging protocols.
• Build web application user interfaces based on front-end user requirements.
• Apply architectural patterns and API styles to software design.
• Maintain compliance with client-specific security and suitability requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of MUMPS software development experience.
• Direct experience working within the VA VistA system.
• Hands-on knowledge of HL7 messaging development.
• Experience developing web application user interfaces.
• Understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
• Proficiency with various architecture styles and APIs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Experience with TRM compliance within the VA and 508 Compliance requirements.
• SAFe Certifications.
