Description

You will manage SQL/MX RDBMS administration within the HP NonStop OSS environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex production releases involving DDL and DML for new initiatives and maintenance.
• Perform database performance tuning, disk management, and optimization.
• Monitor and support SQL/MX query optimization and database performance.
• Collaborate with development teams using Agile methodology.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as an Application DBA using HP NonStop SQL/MX RDBMS in production on OSS.
• Hands-on experience with HP Guardian and Guardian TACL.
• Proficiency in HP NonStop OSS, including bash shell scripting and vi.
• Experience with SQL/MX query optimization and SQLXPress.
• Strong knowledge of HP Guardian disk volumes.
• Experience with distributed applications such as WebSphere, JBoss, or Tuxedo.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Perl.
• Hands-on experience with Git, BitBucket, CI/CD, or equivalent.
• Experience with JIRA and Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of payment transaction processing using ISO 8583 or ISO 20022 protocols.
• 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry.
