Description

You will manage and optimize multi-platform database environments focusing on Couchbase, MySQL, Oracle, and MSSQL.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Couchbase clusters, including node settings, network configurations, and bucket partitioning.
• Execute database upgrades, data migrations, and capacity planning to ensure minimal downtime.
• Implement backup strategies using Netbackup and perform quarterly DR setup validations.
• Perform performance tuning, index optimization, and query troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency.
• Manage security patching, user access, and compliance auditing to meet organizational standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with Couchbase Server installation and cluster management.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, Oracle, and MSSQL.
• Experience with Netbackup for data recovery and restoration.
• Knowledge of data modeling for optimized storage and retrieval.
• Ability to manage OS monthly patching and security updates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex database issues.
• Availability to work rotational shifts.
