Good to Have Skills: Exposure to SQL Server administration, data warehouse experience with Google BigQuery, familiarity with automation tools for database provisioning and monitoring, experience with master-master replication, knowledge of MySQL administration tools and monitoring performance indicators.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and administer highly available and performant MySQL databases for mission-critical applications.
• Support production databases across global data centers ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot MySQL replication and clustering to maintain data consistency.
• Provide database reports and queries for internal stakeholders to support business requirements.
• Perform performance tuning, backup and recovery operations, and proactive monitoring of database systems.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues to maintain system availability and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Automate database tasks using scripting languages to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Document database designs, processes, and operational guidelines for team knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Follow change management processes for production environments to ensure safe and controlled deployments.

Experience Required: 5+ years of overall professional experience, including 3+ years of hands-on MySQL administration experience
