Description

You will own database administration, performance tuning, and recovery operations in co-location environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the database portion of application releases and execute disaster recovery planning, testing, and backup/restore processes.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve live database system issues proactively using query execution plans and performance tuning.
• Analyze requirements from developers and architects to build PL/SQL procedures for data loads and migrations.
• Mentor team members on DBA tasks and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a MySQL DBA.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting, including Stored Procedures (SPs) and PSQL.
• Hands-on experience with database administration, backup, and recovery in co-location environments.
• Expertise in Oracle Backup & Recovery.
• Experience with database cloning and refresh operations.
• Knowledge of Incident Management and Change Management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with replication.
