Description

You will manage and optimize database environments across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL database systems.
• Implement replication, clustering, failover, and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage database workloads within Linux-based environments including Ubuntu, CentOS, and RHEL.
• Automate database tasks using shell scripting or Python.
• Monitor system health using tools such as Percona PMM, pgAdmin, MongoDB Atlas, Zabbix, or Prometheus.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in database administration.
• Proficiency in MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database concepts.
• Experience with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
• Proficiency in Python or shell scripting.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Percona PMM, pgAdmin, MongoDB Atlas, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with cloud database services including AWS RDS/Aurora, GCP Cloud SQL, or Azure Database.
• Experience with replication, clustering, and disaster recovery.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
