Description

You will build and maintain the Android Player SDK for mobile and Android TV platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance video playback components for mobile and Android TV.
• Optimize streaming performance for low latency and high quality using Android media APIs.
• Implement video streaming protocols including HLS and DASH.
• Integrate Widevine DRM technologies across Android platforms.
• Develop modern UIs for phone and TV form factors using Jetpack Compose.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development.
• Proven expertise in building video streaming applications for mobile and Android TV.
• Hands-on experience with Android Media APIs.
• Deep understanding of HLS and DASH streaming protocols.
• Practical experience integrating Widevine DRM.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose for UI development.
• Strong skills in Android Studio and Gradle.
• Experience in performance tuning and resolving complex playback issues across device types.
