Description

You will manage the integration and certification of complex aviation navigation systems and electronic components.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate aviation navigation systems including Embedded GPS/INS (EGI), Radar Altimeter, TACAN, VOR, and ILS/GS.
  • Execute aerospace engineering processes covering requirements definition, allocation, validation, and verification.
  • Manage system safety and certification processes following FAA, EASA, and NAA standards.
  • Coordinate hardware and software integration for embedded electronic systems.
  • Brief technical leaders and customers to maintain effective project relationships.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in navigation system integration or related airborne systems.
  • Deep expertise in hardware and software integration for aerospace applications.
  • Proficiency with SAE ARP4754/4761, DO-160, DO-201, DO-229, and DO-236 standards.
  • Working knowledge of AC 20-138 and 14 CFR Part 27 and 29 regulations.
  • Experience with embedded software and electronic systems within aerospace environments.
  • Proven ability to handle system safety and certification workflows.
  • Embedded GPS/INS (EGI), Radar Altimeter (Radalt), TACAN, VOR, and ILS/GS technical knowledge.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Advanced degrees in relevant engineering disciplines.
