Description

Lead the integration and certification of airborne navigation systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Integrate aviation navigation systems including Embedded GPS/INS (EGI), Radar Altimeter (Radalt), TACAN, VOR, and ILS/GS.
• Manage aerospace engineering processes from requirements definition and allocation through to validation and verification.
• Execute hardware and software integration for complex airborne systems.
• Navigate certification processes for FAA, EASA, and NAA compliance.
• Brief technical findings and project status to internal leaders and external customers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in navigation system integration or related airborne systems.
• Deep knowledge of SAE ARP4754/4761 and DO-160 standards.
• Experience with DO-201, DO-229, and DO-236.
• Familiarity with AC 20-138 and 14 CFR Part 27 and 29.
• Expertise in system safety and requirements verification.
• Hands-on experience with embedded software and electronic systems.
• Proven ability to handle requirements validation and allocation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Advanced degrees in engineering disciplines.
