Description

Lead the architecture and development lifecycle for a web-based data entry portal, owning design decisions from requirements through implementation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the web-based data entry portal, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
• Analyze current data organization and storage methods to draft precise requirements documentation.
• Provide technical guidance for selecting business platforms and validate them against internal IT standards.
• Establish and enforce design standards for technical and user documentation.
• Interface with IT teams to ensure compliance and technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server development and architecture, including expert-level knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 and above.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft SharePoint.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
• 5+ years of experience developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views in MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in SQL query development and SQL Server Administration.
• 3+ years of experience drafting requirements for web-based data entry portals.
• 3+ years of experience in application development and architecture.
• 3+ years of experience establishing design standards and user documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ESRI GIS.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL commands and database concepts.
