Description

Develop and maintain mainframe-based business applications within the Integrated Tax Administration System using structured SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain COBOL, CICS, and EasyTrieve applications on Z/OS and MVS environments.
• Perform application monitoring, incident response, and ongoing production operational support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using TSO/ISPF, JCL, SQL, and DB2.
• Document technical and functional requirements, translating customer needs into automated software solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with COBOL, CICS, EasyTrieve, JCL, SQL, and DB2.
• 7+ years of experience working with TSO/ISPF, Z/OS, MVS, and IMS.
• 7+ years of experience in technical and functional requirements documentation.
• 7+ years of experience troubleshooting and debugging mainframe applications.
• Proven experience in mainframe application development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of secure application development best practices.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile Project Management.
• Knowledge of the ITIL Framework or ITIL Certification.
• Experience with INSTALL/1.
