Description

You will manage inventory, documentation, and technical support for Physical Security and Facilities Access Control Systems (FACS). You own the lifecycle of equipment, devices, and materials associated with facility implementations.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-annual inventory assessments and submit reports to Security Management.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports covering inbound/outbound material, RMAs, and current inventory levels by part number.
• Coordinate the surplus process adhering to NC State Surplus procedures and ensure retired servers follow Information Security Office protocols.
• Support the Security Operations Center (SOC) with basic system configurations and assist in troubleshooting installation and operating issues.
• Identify end-of-life devices, arrange for replacements, and maintain badging supplies including related quotes and invoices.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting security devices and working with the Genetec platform.
• 3+ years of experience installing and servicing video surveillance equipment, IP cameras, and card readers.
• 3+ years of experience using the ServiceNow platform.
• 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident tracking and reporting.
• Background in physical security and knowledge of security systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NC State Surplus procedures.
